A postdoctoral fellow position for stroke research is available at the Department of Neurology/Cellular Biology and Anatomy, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. We are looking for an experienced cell and molecular biologist to join our research team. The methods to be used in experiments include primary neuron cultures, bone marrow stem cell or vascular smooth muscle cell cultures, FACS, Western blot, qRT-PCR, ELISA, and immunohistochemistry. Experience in RNAi gene silencing, gene/protein assay and regulation, cell signaling, bone marrow stem cell biology, endothelial or vascular smooth muscle cell biology, and/or stroke model are preferred.
